A website in two stages: why strategy before code saves your budget

The most expensive mistake in website projects is not technical. It is building something that was not properly planned. Every change of concept during development means rewritten code, delays and stress. That is why I work in two clearly separated stages.

Stage 1 · 50% — Strategy and UX/UI Design

  • goals and audience analysis — who buys, what convinces them, what they fear,
  • information architecture — sitemap and content structure built around search intent,
  • User Journey — the path from entry to contact or purchase,
  • hi-fi mockups and a clickable prototype in Figma — desktop and mobile.

You see and click your future website before any code exists — and the design is yours, so you stay technologically independent.

Stage 2 · 50% — Development and Launch

  • pixel-perfect implementation in WordPress, WooCommerce, Strapi or React,
  • technical SEO: headings, meta tags, structured data, sitemap, hreflang, Open Graph,
  • speed optimisation (target: PageSpeed 90+ on mobile),
  • forms, analytics and integrations,
  • handover with documentation and post-launch support.

Why it pays off

Lower risk — you pay 50% for a stage whose result you see and accept. Predictable budget — stage 2 is priced on a finished design, not on guesses. Better business results — a site designed around real goals converts better than a template.
